To customize the toolbars

You can customize the toolbars to show, hide, dock, or move toolbars, create new toolbars, remove toolbars that are no longer needed, add frequently-used buttons or remove unused buttons from a toolbar, or reset to the default toolbars.

To show, hide, dock, or move a toolbar  

•	To show or hide a toolbar, right-click a toolbar and select or deselect the toolbar that you want to show or hide.

•	To dock a toolbar, drag the toolbar to the top of the LiveCycle Designer ES window.

•	To move a toolbar, drag the toolbar to the new location.

To create a toolbar

1.	Select Tools > Customize.

2.	In the Toolbars tab, click New.

3.	Type a name for the toolbar and click OK.

4.	Add buttons and menus to the toolbar, and click OK.

To remove a toolbar

1.	Select Tools > Customize.

2.	In the Toolbars tab, select the toolbar that you want to delete and click Delete.

Note:

You can only delete toolbars that you have created.

To add or remove a button on a toolbar

1.	Ensure that the toolbar you want to change is visible.

2.	Select Tools > Customize.

3.	Add or remove a button:

•	To add a button to a toolbar, in the Commands tab, select the category and then select the button that you want to add. Drag the button to the toolbar.

•	To remove a button from a toolbar, drag the button off the toolbar.

Click OK.

To reset a toolbar to its default appearance

1.	Ensure that the toolbar you want to reset is visible.

2.	Select Tools > Customize.

3.	Select the toolbar, click Reset, and then click OK.
