Roaming ID tab (Signature Settings/Sign Data and Submit Settings dialog box)

Use this tab to specify a web server that holds the digital credentials that are used to sign the document or data.

To display this tab perform one of the following actions:

•	Select a signature field, click the Signature tab in the Object palette, click Settings, and then click the Roaming ID tab.

•	Select a submit button, click the Submit tab in the Object palette, ensure that Sign Submission is selected, click Settings, and then click the Roaming ID tab.

•	Select an email or HTTP submit button and, in the Object palette, ensure that Sign Submission is selected, click Settings, and then click the Roaming ID tab.

Signing Server URL

Points to a web service that holds the digital credentials that a signing party uses to sign a document or data.

Restrict Signing To Specified URL Server

Forces Acrobat to search for the credentials on the specified server. If this option is not selected, the server is only suggested; Acrobat can use other available credentials if that the server is not available. If the server is available, it must use credentials even if they are not required. If you do not require a specific roaming credential server, Acrobat uses any digital ID regardless of its location.
