Starting the form design

The requirement for the purchase order form is that it be a single page in PDF. Users will fill the form electronically using Adobe Reader, print it using the Print button included on the form, and then manually return the form.

1.	In the LiveCycle Form Design perspective, select File > New > Adobe XML Form File (PDF).

2.	In the Enter or Select the Parent Folder box, select the parent folder under which to save the form design.

3.	In the File Name box, type an new name for the form design, and then click Next.

4.	Click Finish.

The new form design appears in the Layout Editor.

5.	In the Object Library palette, click the Standard category and drag the Print Button object onto the form in the upper right corner.

When a user finishes filling the form, they click the Print Form button to print the form.
