Adding a radio button object for date choices

Radio buttons are a useful way to provide a number of mutually exclusive choices. For example, in this case you want to find out which date people prefer for the picnic. You list each of the dates on the form beside a radio button. The person filling the form can pick only one of the dates.

1.	In the Object Library palette, click the Standard category and then click the Radio Button object .

2.	Click below the first set of instructions. The object appears.

3.	Select the text Radio Button and type June 26.

4.	Repeat steps 1 to 3 for the two other dates and do the following steps.

•	Place the objects below the first.

•	Select the caption in the second object and type July 10.

•	Select the caption in the third object and type July 17.

5.	In the Object palette, click the Binding tab and type PreferredDate in the Name box.
