To bind panel or section names to data

You can bind a panel or section name to data so that the name updates according to the data the form filler enters in a particular field. Binding panel or section names to data is particularly useful for repeating panels or sections. The field to which the panel or section name is bound can be anywhere in the form guide.

For example, if you have a form with information for multiple patients, you can bind repeating panels to a Surname field, so that each panel instance uses a patient’s surname.

Drag a form field onto the panel or section link icon in the form guide hierarchy. The panel or section name is removed and the link icon is activated.
