In the Guide Properties accordion you specify properties that affect the entire form guide, such as the effects and transitions, the submit method, and any guide help.A form filler submits their form guide data, either electronically or by printing a hard copy, according to the submission method defined in the Guide Properties accordion.Specifies the visual effect to use when a form guide is opened in a browser. You can also set the speed of the effect.Specifies the visual effect to use when the user navigates through the panels. You can also set the speed of the panel transition.Specifies where the form guide data should be submitted. The submit button appears on the last panel in the form guide. You can select one of the following Submit From options:
• Submits the form guide data from the PDF form. Clicking the submit button opens the PDF form from which the form filler can submit the data. If the PDF form is not available, clicking the submit button in the form guide instructs Forms ES to create the PDF form and returns it so that the form filler can verify it and then click the Submit button in it. In this case, the form filler cannot switch between the form guide and the PDF form.
• Submits the data from the form guide. If you select this option, the Submit Button option becomes available.Specifies that the hosted application, such as Workspace ES, controls the data submission. The form guide does not have a submit button. The hosted application must extract the data from the form guide and perform the data submission.Specifies which form submit button to use on the last panel in the form guide. The list includes a default button and any buttons that are on the form design. If you use the default button, the data is submitted according to the default URL specified when the form was rendered. If you use a button from the form design, the data is submitted according to the script and properties that are defined for the button on the form design.Specifies the help contents that appears in the form guide container. You can format the text, and add links and video to the contents.

• Specifies the URL for a link. The URL can use an absolute or a relative path. When the form filler clicks a link, the linked content is displayed in a separate browser window.
• Specifes the URL for a video file. The URL can use an absolute or a relative path. The guide layout determines where the video appears i
n the form guide.
• Specifies the URL for an image file. You can also set image properties including width, height, and position.
