Addressing warning marker messages

The Warnings tab in the Report palette lists messages associated with warning markers that appear when a problem occurs with an object.

The following table lists and describes the warning marker messages.

Code	Type	Description
2000	Miscellaneous	At least two Radio Buttons have the same value. The group is meant to be mutually exclusive, all values must be unique.
2001	Miscellaneous	You may need to provide a return URL. See the Help documentation for more information about using the submit button.
2002	Miscellaneous	No email address specified. Use the Object palette to specify an email address.
2003	Miscellaneous	Invalid email address. Enter an email address of the form: name@address.com.
2004	Miscellaneous	While this object allows rich text to be entered, its Data Format only accepts plain text. Use the Object palette to make these properties compatible.
2005	Miscellaneous	While this object only allows only plain text to be entered, its Data Format accepts rich text. Use the Object palette to make these properties compatible.
2006	Miscellaneous	The list box is set to support multiple selection and its Commit On property is set to ‘select’ rather than the recommended value of ‘exit’.
2007	Miscellaneous	The field’s value area is too small to fit the maximum length value permitted. Increase the field’s value area or decrease its value length to ensure that all possible values will fit.
2008	Miscellaneous	A border around a barcode field can affect its scanning.
2009	Miscellaneous	Background fill behind a barcode field can affect its scanning.
2010	Miscellaneous	Limit to visible area is ignored on fields that are set to expand to fit.
2011	Miscellaneous	For a screen reader to read a list properly, list items must be contained within a parent List element.
2012	Miscellaneous	No subform is present in the content area or the first subform is too large for the content area.
2013	Miscellaneous	There should be a content area in the print-only view and in the screen-only view.
2014	Miscellaneous	There should be a page area in the print-only view and in the screen-only view.
2015	Picture Clause	The specified Data pattern “%s” is invalid. Define a valid Data pattern.
2016	Picture Clause	The Data pattern “%s” is incompatible with the object’s data format. Define a compatible Data pattern.
2017	Picture Clause	The specified Display pattern “%s” is invalid. Define a valid Display pattern.
2018	Picture Clause	The Display pattern “%s” is incompatible with the object’s data format. Define a compatible Display pattern.
2019	Picture Clause	The specified Validation pattern “%s” is invalid. Define a valid Validation pattern.
2020	Picture Clause	The Validation pattern “%s” is incompatible with the object’s data format. Define a compatible Validation pattern.
2021	Picture Clause	The specified Edit pattern “%s” is invalid. Define a valid Edit pattern.
2022	Picture Clause	The Edit pattern “%s” is incompatible with the object’s data format. Define a compatible Edit pattern.
2023	Miscellaneous	The Image Field will appear as an Image object. This form is currently saved as an Acrobat 6 compatible file. This feature is supported by Acrobat and Adobe Reader 7.0.5 or later.
2026	Miscellaneous	Paper Forms Barcodes may not update user-supplied data in Acrobat or Adobe Reader 6. This form is currently saved as an Acrobat 6 compatible file. This feature is supported by Acrobat and Adobe Reader 7.0.5 or later.
2027	Miscellaneous	The Expand to Fit option is not supported. This form is currently saved as an Acrobat 6 compatible file. This feature is supported by Acrobat and Adobe Reader 7.0.5 or later.
2028	Miscellaneous	This barcode will appear as a text field in Acrobat or Adobe Reader 6. For the barcode to work, assign an automatic script (from the Value tab) or provide a custom script, and then save the form targeting Acrobat and Adobe Reader 7.0.5 or later.
2029	Data Binding	This field has the same name as another global field with an incompatible type.
2030	Data Binding	Using Normal data binding when a default data connection is defined may produce undesirable results.
2031	Data Binding	Default binding value ‘%1′ does not correspond to a data connection.
2032	Data Binding	Direct binding references to multiple levels of repeating data may not produce preferred results. Form may require relative binding references for repeating subform containers.
2033	Locale	The value may not be presented as expected when using Viewer’s System Locale for this field representing currency.
2034	Locale	The spelling in this object, or in any child objects that inherit this locale, will not be checked.
2035	Miscellaneous	This fragment reference has local overrides to one or more properties of the source fragment.
2036	Miscellaneous	Cannot externally reference fragments in forms that are saved as PDF files. Save the form as an XDP file.
2037	Miscellaneous	The signature field cannot be repeatable.
2038	Miscellaneous	The number of symbols in the specified Data pattern “%s” is less than the maximum number of characters of the field. Define a new Data pattern or change the maximum number of characters that are allowed in the field. The number of maximum allowable characters does not match one or more of the pictures in the specified Data pattern “%s”. Define a new Data pattern or change the maximum number of characters of the field.
2039	Miscellaneous	The number of symbols in the specified Display pattern “%s” is less than the maximum number of characters in the field. Define a new Display pattern or change the maximum number of characters of the field. 2043	Miscellaneous	The minimum number of letters before a hyphen must be less than the minimum number of letters of a hyphenated word.
2044	Miscellaneous	The content and caption cannot fit in the space provided. Press the indicator to automatically expand the object. The caption cannot fit in the space provided. 2045	Miscellaneous	Data connection ‘%s1′ does not match the cached data description. Regenerate the data description using Connection Properties.
2046	Miscellaneous	Although the object is allowed to break, deselecting the Allow Page Break Within Content option of the parent object restricts this object from breaking between pages.
2047	Miscellaneous	Subform encoding has been deprecated. Please use the Collection encoding option or provide a custom script.
2048	Miscellaneous	Form contains two or more signature field objects. At least one signature field object has the Lock Fields After Signing option selected on the Signature tab. See the Help documentation for more information about using multiple signature field objects in a form.
