To create a form design in LiveCycle Workbench ES

You create a form design by dragging objects from the Object Library onto the Layout Editor. Alternatively, you can drag objects defined in an XML schema onto the Layout Editor.

To create an XDP form design:

1.	In the LiveCycle Form Design perspective, select File > New > Adobe XML Form File (XDP).

2.	In the Enter or Select the Parent Folder box, select the parent folder under which to save the form design.

3.	In the File Name box, type an new name for the form design, and then click Next.

4.	(Optional) In the Select Template list, select the template you want to use.

5.	(Optional) In the Select Schema area, click Browse, select the XML schema file to associate with the form design, and then click OK. If the XML schema is on your local computer, click Import, select the XML schema file, and then click Open.

6.	Click Finish.

To create a PDF form design:

1.	In theLiveCycle Form Design perspective, select File > New > Adobe XML Form File (PDF).

2.	In the Enter or Select the Parent Folder box, select the parent folder under which to save the form design.

3.	In the File Name box, type an new name for the form design, and then click Next.

4.	Click Finish.
