PDF files can come from many sources, and each authoring application can define the contents of the PDF file in a unique manner.You can use the Create an Interactive Form with a Flowable Layout option to import a PDF document and edit the contents in Workbench. To do so, you must first create a blank PDF and then import the PDF you want to use as artwork into the blank PDF. You can then add objects or edit the form design, as needed.Before importing a PDF file into LiveCycle Designer ES, you should understand the different options available for fine-tuning the results of the import process.
Note: PDF files created by using LiveCycle Designer ES do not go through the import process. They open directly in LiveCycle Designer ES and should appear as designed without modifications.You use the Import Options dialog box to import a PDF file. The options in the Import Options dialog box enable you to customize how LiveCycle Designer ES processes the text, paragraphs, and images in the document.If you are not satisfied with the initial conversion, you can experiment with different combinations of options to achieve the best results.
