To limit the numbers entered in decimal and numeric fields

You can limit how many numbers may be entered in decimal and numeric fields by specifying that LiveCycle Designer ES use the horizontal length of the decimal or numeric field to determine how many numbers to allow.

In the Object palette, click the Field tab and select Limit Length to Visible Area.
